Going Sane in a Crazy World

My journey through life and the lessons I learn to help me grow spiritually.

Sane Friends

The Spirit is Weak

Oh it's Monday and another week of working it. You know I want to be able to coast sometime although I know you only coast down hill, never up. I know how it is in other parts of my life. It's a new day and time to start at the beginning and work my way up. It's the same with the business. However today I'm tired and wish for the mindless work of a normal job and a consistent paycheck. Yes it's my day to whine.

While in this area perception is 9/10ths of the law. I feel like I'm not doing anything, but I've seen my patients, made phone calls, took care of my Mom's stuff, and marketed. It's just quiet here and I have a stack of paperwork that needs to be done.

I did call other patients that had just started to see how they were doing and if they had any other questions. One did and as usual didn't want to bother me with a phone call. So I was able to straighten him out over the phone.

I'll give Blondie a call tonight to see if Wednesday is a go. The funny thing is that we singles are going to the Chrysler museum then. I think this will be date #4 there. If I ever write a book about dating I might have to make a chapter to that place since it works so well.

2 people had cathartic therapy:

Hi Mike,
I have been reading your blog for a long time but have never commented before. I just read your post about the person who did not like your emails etc. This is what I have come to realize, when you are a really nice person and you go out of your way to help others or make others feel special or like they are important to you often times it can be taken the wrong way. Most people really don't care about anybody but themselves and maybe their husband/wife/children if they are lucky. So, people don't know how to react to your kindness, their first thought is - this person wants something from me and that is why they are being nice. It can be particularly annoying when people take your kindness the wrong way. In business I have tried to always go the extra mile and most people appreciate it but some really cannot believe that you are doing it just to forge your business relationships and because you are a nice person. Try not to let the one person get you down. I am curious if the person was a man or a woman?

I always enjoy reading all your stories, especially your dating and singles stories. Awhile back you posted photos of Eric and he looks pricelessly adorable. He also is the spitting image of you.

I have never been to Virginia Beach but I have been to Williamsburg and loved it.

You sound like a really thoughtful guy and I wish you the very best! You have a great style in the telling of all your stories!

Thanks for reading and the compliments Erin. It was a woman.
