Whip it, Whip it Good

Woohoo! I've got a 75% payment of all the members in the single group. There will always be people in there first 30 days that haven't paid, but much of the dead weight is gone. People still try to do it for free for some strange reason, but I guess that's just how they are.

I started my first weight loss client yesterday and it went well. I just feel very weird with it since I've always had a hard time gaining weight, never losing it. However I've dealt with enough people with addictions and personal problems to do this. The patient was very happy and excited. So we'll see how it goes.

I've been getting a lot of praise the last few days which has been nice. As usual for me it doesn't last long in my mind. Paper boy stated yesterday he still works to get to my networking ability level which everyone does recognize. It's not that hard to achieve just work and I think most people just don't want to do that last little "umph". The second one ties right into this. My business coach this morning stated that I was the only one really engaging the activities that we have all been setting up. So with that I was making a lot of contacts. I'm still waiting for this to turn into cash, but I know it's a process. One that if I can keep up will hopefully bring in a constant flow of patients.

I know in this economy everyone is happy that I'm doing the same as last year. I just need to do better to not be struggling so much financially and boy is it hard getting that extra inch or two.

The Deed is Done

Well I have to admit I was nervous about breaking up with Tech girl, but it went over well. I think she was sad about it to. I could hear it in her voice, but we talked it out. She wasn't fully sure about us yet and was still deciding, but we both agreed we enjoyed the friendship. So that was good. She thanked me for my honesty which I knew was big for her and for me to.

Since I'm now free for the holiday I'll join the other singles at our Christmas dinner. Speaking of parties my business group party tonight was a lot of fun. I got there late due to patients. Times are tough and I'm not about to give away new patients. MK lady brought her daughter and Paper boy brought his twins. All the kids are getting bigger and were a big hit at the party. I'm beat tonight and I have an 8 o'clock patient so I feel like I'm on a treadmill, but at least people are coming in which is huge.

Movie Time

Well it's been a while since I saw a movie in theaters. I think Transformers was the last one. Anyway Paper boy gave me a pass for a screening of Dan in Real Life with Steve Carrell. It was a romantic comedy and I would say a good date movie. It was nice to actually get out. Dancing is fun, but this was something different.

Well if the office stays its course tomorrow. This week will tie for the busiest for the year. Now if these weeks would just become the norm I'd be happy.

Lunch Time

I had a business lunch with Paper Boy (it's sounds better than paper "guy") today. We met up at Diner Girl's place. One thing I miss about the north is that women rarely smiled unless they were interested. When I first got down here 3 years ago a guy I knew said, "Mike, girls just smile at you down here. It doesn't mean their interested in you." I was still married at the time when he told me and I didn't really care. Now 3 years later I understand what he meant. Anyway I got to shoot the breeze with Diner Girl and her vacation with her folks. Paper Boy arrived and we got down to our business meeting. How as one of the newbies got to be teaching everyone how to do these things I'll never know. Although since I brought Paper Boy into the group I don't mind teaching him. Diner Girl stopped by a few times to chat with us since we are all in the same group. Although I have to admit she did focus most of her attention on me. It was subtle, but I guess that goes with being a young thang.

Well let me get all this paperwork finished. I would like to go down to the oceanfront tonight to see Blue Oyster Cult. Their free and it would be nice to relax down there in the evening.
